I bought this recliner from N B Liebman Furniture.. in the clearance section of the store... I wanted a recliner for my office so they had this $500 chair for about $200.00, what a deal.... but in all reality it was a very poor - a cheaply made lay flat recliner - made in China.. and the chair failed, in fact the back of the chair broke off.... landing me flat. N B Liebman - clearance section - no warranty - no help - won't care... you buy as is.. nothing more. Which brings about a question. Are they selling failed products .. as clearance items? Did they sell me their problem? Was this a new chair or a failed chair already returned? How many of these recliners have failed? Was this unsafe? Was this a known hazard? As a shop owner, I decided to take the chair apart and I discovered what I expected, a very low quality chair. Clearance items are bargains.. Clearance items should be slow moving items.. I don't think clearance items should be junk.. Very disrespectful to customers
I still like them, but no more clearance items...
