Tuesday at the daily press briefing, State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki was questioned by CNN reporter Elise Labott about the "explosion of Islamic extremists" around the world being a "direct result of U.S. foreign policy."

Psaki said she refutes that because Secretary of State John Kerry doesn't "not rest."

Psaki added, "The United States has never been more engaged in more places in the world than it is today.”
