Security officials say the deal between Hamas and North Korea is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and is being handled by a Lebanese-based trading company with close ties to the militant Palestinian organization based in east Beirut.

Hamas officials are believed to have already made an initial cash down payment to secure the deal, and are now hoping that North Korea will soon begin shipping extra supplies of weapons to Gaza.

“Hamas is looking for ways to replenish its stocks of missiles because of the large numbers it has fired at Israel in recent weeks,” explained a security official. “North Korea is an obvious place to seek supplies because Pyongyang already has close ties with a number of militant Islamist groups in the Middle East.”

According to a former Iranian double-agent for the CIA who uses the pseudonym Reza Kahlili, Iran’s Supreme Leader said Sunday that the Islamic Republic intends on conquering the United States.

Kahlili provided a Farsi to English translation of Ayatollah Khamenei’s speech, originally published in Iranian state-media. “Those [Iranians] who want to promote negotiation and surrender to the oppressors and blame the Islamic Republic as a warmonger in reality commit treason,” said Khamenei of the ongoing negotiations with world powers.

A man in Iran’s parliament asked Khamenei how long their jihad against the Western world will continue. Khamenei said, “Battle and jihad are endless because evil and its front continue to exist… This battle will only end when the society can get rid of the oppressors’ front with America at the head of it, which has expanded its claws on human mind, body and thought… This requires a difficult and lengthy struggle and need for great strides.”
