All of Los Angeles' public schools were closed Tuesday after a school board member received a threat that described detonating a bomb in a backpack and other packages in the schools, a government official confirms to Fox News.

The threat apparently came from overseas via email late Monday, a law enforcement official told the Associated Press, speaking on condition of anonymity. Officials in Los Angeles called it a "credible terror threat."

It was unclear which school board member received it, but the situation prompted the district to close all schools effective immediately, and order students and staff to stay away from all campuses. Police and the FBI were investigating, and the Department of Homeland Security was monitoring the situation, Fox News has learned.

Schools Superintendent Ramon Cortines said every school in the 640,000-student district would be searched. The district, the nation's second-largest, includes more than 900 schools and 187 public charter schools. It covers Los Angeles as well as all or parts of 31 smaller municipalities and employs nearly 60,000 people.

"I think it is important that I take this precaution based upon what has happened recently and what has happened in the past," Cortines said.

"I, as superintendent, am not going take a chance with the students."

How grave are today’s gathering foreign threats to America’s national security?

American Presidents pursue some international efforts in secret; however, in the past, these clandestine efforts have chiefly been led by diplomats and acknowledged experts in global affairs, and not by a chum whose chief experience lies in state and local government inside our borders and political campaigns.

As will likely come into clearer focus now that allies such as Israel, Canada, France, and Germany are rightly taking a much closer look at following the Obama administration in its conduct of foreign policy in the Middle East, President Obama and those who supposedly serve him are bungling efforts to make progress in one of the most volatile and important regions of the world.

Anyone who makes the barest of efforts to understand the background and aims of theMuslim Brotherhood in the Middle East, in America, and worldwide, must conclude this organization is one that a Western government should never embrace–yet, that is exactly what Barack Obama and Valerie Jarrett have done ever since January 20, 2009, if not before.

So, in Egypt,while President Abdel Fatteh el Sisi courageously and rightly attempts a reformation of Islam from within, the Obama administration, no doubt with strong support from Ms. Jarrett, belligerently continues to lend aid to ousted members of the previous Egyptian government, unabashedly entwined with the now outlawed Muslim Brotherhood, in that country.

In Iran, after decades of bi-partisan failure, the Obama administration meanwhile rushes now, in secret, to seal a breakthrough nuclear deal.

Simultaneously, Iran resolutely continues down paths threatening American interests and allies numerous places.

These failures with Egypt and with Iran, come upon the heels of the evident error oftrading five hardened radical Islamist jihadists for deserter Bowe Bergdahl.

Undeterred despite poor results, the Obama administration elsewhere races forwardopening relations with the unrepentant dictatorship in Cuba and may even be moving towards making concessions to normalize relations with North Korea.

Time to bear down much harder and get to the truth

In stark contrast to the posture taken with regard to previous Presidents and their closest advisors, leading elements in the mainstream press have not gone far enough in warning the American public of dangers posed by the continued pursuit of Obama administration policies.

In 2015, most of the media complex faces raging structural headwinds, competes ferociously for a shrinking stream of potential advertising revenues, remains subject to regulatory oversight, and is capital constrained. So, it is little wonder that major organizations tread lightly for fear of losing access to key Administration figures.

This is a pity, for judging what we know of the economic and foreign policy record objectively, we can only conclude that a central operating premise in the Obama administration is that if at first you do not succeed, fail, fail, again.

Six Bosnian immigrants have been charged with aiding extremists in Syria thought to be connected to the Islamic State, a federal indictment unsealed Friday revealed.

“Today’s charges and arrests underscore our resolve to identify, thwart, and hold accountable individuals within the United States who seek to provide material support to terrorists and terrorist organizations operating in Syria and Iraq,” Assistant Attorney General John P. Carlin said in a statement.

Five of the individuals were arrested in the U.S. while one remains overseas, according to the Justice Department.

Charged in the indictment are Ramiz Zijad Hodzic, 40, his wife Sedina Unkic Hodzic, 35, and Armin Harcevic, 37, all of St. Louis County, Missouri; Nihad Rosic, 26, of Utica, New York; Mediha Medy Salkicevic, 34 of Schiller Park, Illinois; and Jasminka Ramic, 42, of Rockford, Illinois

The daily intelligence briefing from the C.I.A., N.S.A. and the D.O.D. was never this important but ISIS, Syria, Iraq, and Iran were making headlines and they were winning the visual media war.  The men in the situation room knew all about this Barack Obama, the presidents real name given to him at birth in Kenya was (Soebarkah) and every general resented the President today.  The truth was not powerful enough or well known enough yet to have Obama - Soebarkah removed from office even though many citizens were trying.

The community organizer from the streets of Chicago became President and now the little boy became the general, confusing the American citizens, pissing off the generals and putting tens of thousands of American troops at risk at every hour of every day.  Hitler took control from the generals, we have seen the pictures.  Hitler would lean over giant map tables and point and then command his generals to move left, stop or go, advance quickly or pause.  This is Barack Obama, today telling the fighting men that will die how to die, when to die as he is constantly shouting at his generals, pushing red binders away, slapping his hand on the situation table and his coffee is cold and the rain will ruin his golfing day planned.

Obama has given his generals 30 minutes every Tuesday and Thursday mornings to handle the ISIS war but it was noticed that he wasn't in it to win it.

Barack thought about Hillary Clinton for a second as the blue binder ( notes from the F.B.I.) talked about Benghazi Special Investigative Committee led by Rep. Trey Gowdy which he considered her problem, not his. 

He remembered that she was the bitch that started all the "birther" b.s. that had cost him and his supporters millions of dollars to keep secret.  

Kenya wasn't a bad place but Barack (Soebarkah) (his real name) was coming to the surface.  

Barack had buried his communist and socialist deeds at Occidental College and Harvard but the birth certificate problem simply wouldn't die.  Barack Obama has so many monthly payments to make to keep his secrets the "made guys" in Chicago were starting to bitch a lot.  The environmental guys promised the cash but Barack had to keep the Keystone pipeline on the drawing board and never allow it to be built. 

With the November elections on the horizon the ISIS war was good news and waiting to play war was the right idea.  The media was all over ISIS and the beheading of Americans which keep them off his ass for a while.  People were not talking about ObamaCare and Barack smiled when Congress just funded the entire program and the public never knew it.  Congress, both houses, approve the ISIS war funding and inside the massive continuing resolution spending bill the Congress also funded all of ObamaCare and not one word out of the media.  

The Congress stopped barking about Illegal Aliens and thousands of illegal alien teenagers spread out across America. The 24 hour news cycle was just that, start to stop, only 24 hours. 

Nobody talked about Fast and Furious gun running to Mexican drug cartels and not one word about Eric Holder being in contempt of Congress.  

The Republicans are afraid to say anything about anything until after the November elections, keeping their heads down, trying to rock the sinking Obama boat with total silence.  Barack wasn't having a good year but he was not accountable to the voters or Congress any longer.  They would never impeach a black president.  They would never discover his heart was with Islam and besides, it didn't really matter. Chicago blacks would continue to kill each other and Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton would continue to cash their checks.  If the money flowed everybody played along and the NAACP kept the parade going and the New Black Panthers promised little trouble in November. 

His railroad friends would haul the oil out of Canada but Barack would have to be paid every month and the price just went up.  Energy independence for America had more to do with campaign cash than anything else.

Barack's E.P.A. was doing a good job on shutting down coal mines and coal fired electricity generation plants but winter would reveal black outs and cold homes.  Electric cars would be built but not by union workers of General Motors.

He would find a way to blame the Republicans and maybe even terrorism but he had to find a way to keep oil prices really high, the stock market had to keep moving up and the Federal Reserve must keep interest rates low for a few more months.  The economic damage was just about complete and 50 million Americans were being fed right out of the White House with welfare.  McDonalds and Burger King were hiring college graduates that couldn't find work so unemployment kept moving down as people dropped off all government records.  The voters in America were foolish and they followed Barack no matter what.

The armed attacks on power stations and power relay stations got little attention but the terrorist bastards are causing havoc inside the power generation and transmission segments.  The F.B.I. was running around like the keystone cops trying to catch them but the terrorists were good, really good.

Eric Holder had his eye on the open Southern border but ISIS fighters moved freely, back and forth almost daily and they had arms, drugs and whores along for the adventure inside America.

They were guys out there even counting his golf games when they should be writing about black poverty or immigrants struggling for a better life.  Barack knew he would lose his power in a few months so party time was at hand.  Drop a few bombs, dodge FOX news and let the games begin.  He had planned to create another six million progressive democratic liberal voters by executive order but illegal aliens were rushing the border making him look weak.  The Democratic Senators running for office in November told him to back down through the DNC or he could kiss Hagan, Pryor and Udall goodbye and the Senate would return the power to the people. 

The Benghazi attack on 9/11 was a State Department problem but the arms and other heavy weapons Barack was moving through Croatia to Syria at the same time was still a secret from Americans.  The special forces C110 was guarding arms and ammunition moving through Croatia and not protecting Benghazi.  Hillary knows the truth but she had more secrets than Obama.  Barack looked up when the General said something about Syria air strikes but Obama didn't catch the whole statement.

The Obama administration is “blocking” journalists 

from getting information:

1) As the United States ramps up its fight against Islamic militants, the public can’t see any of it. News organizations can’t shoot photos or video of bombers as they take off — there are no embeds. In fact, the administration won’t even say what country the S. bombers fly from.

2) The White House once fought to get cameramen, photographers and reporters into meetings the president had with foreign leaders overseas. That access has become much rarer. Think about the message that sends other nations about how the world’s leading democracy deals with the media:  Keep them out and let them use handout photos.

3) Guantanamo: The big important 9/11 trial is finally coming up. But we aren’t allowed to see most court filings in real time — even of nonclassified material. So at hearings, we can’t follow what’s happening. We don’t know what prosecutors are asking for, or what defense attorneys are arguing.

4) Information about Guantanamo that was routinely released under President George W. Bush is now kept secret. The military won’t release the number of prisoners on hunger strike or the number of assaults on guards. Photo and video coverage is virtually nonexistent.

5) Day-to-day intimidation of sources is chilling. AP’s transportation reporter’s sources say that if they are caught talking to her, they will be fired. Even if they just give her facts, about safety, for example. Government press officials say their orders are to squelch anything controversial or that makes the administration look bad.
