Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), a United States
government agency that oversees government-supported news media including Voice
of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, has hired a George Soros-linked
pollster to “conduct a national survey on media and opinion in a difficult
research environment of the Latin American market.”
While it is customary for government work to be bid out, buried on an
obscure government website today is word that the selected
contractor, Bendixen & Amandi, "is the only source
that fully meets the BBG requirement,” so this job will not be open to
bids.
So the BBG claims that, in the entire United States, there
is apparently only one company capable of conducting a survey of
Hispanics – and that company also happens to work for George
Soros, the Ford Foundation – and the Obama Campaign.
The Washington Free Beacon reported in 2012 that Bendixen &
Amandi is a pollster for Obama For America, having prepared a document titled “Republicans
Seal Their Fate with Hispanic Voters in 2012.”
Bendixen & Amandi works
extensively for George Soros’ Open Society Institute and the uber-liberal
Ford Foundation. Bendixen notes
that his firm “works mostly for Democratic candidates.”
It has previously been said of
this company that “For decades, leftist and pollster
Sergio Bendixen has tried through his 'polls' to push narratives
to benefit Democrats. His 'polling' on the Cuban Exile vote and many
others has been proven wrong numerous times."
A Cuban blogger at Babalu Blog has called him “the
world’s worst pollster,” claiming that “[o]ver the years,
Bendixen’s polling has amassed a history of being consistently and
repeatedly wrong.” Babalu Blog also notes that despite the fact that
his polling
"has been proven wrong numerous
times, and his methodology has been shown to be dubious at best and downright
fraudulent at worst, the media continues to quote his tainted results because
it is exactly what they are looking for. The liberal media has a narrative they
want to push, and Sergio Bendixen is one of those pollsters who appears to
begin with the polling results he is looking for and then devises a methodology
to achieve those results.”
Sitting on the BBG Board of Governors is Michael Kempner, CEO of MWW PR Group, who “bundled $3 million
for Obama’s re-election,” according to the Washington Examiner, and
whom Time Magazine
criticized for lobbying the administration in a piece called “Among Top Obama
Fundraisers, Influence Seekers Abound.”
With Kempner hosting
a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton September 24, and Soros’
pollster winning government work without bids, it seems that government work
pays well.
